Simple black frame

A classic look for all photographs. A simple black metal or wood frame containing a white matted photogrpaph printed on cotton rag art paper. Glazed with UV prrotective glass or plexiglass. A great look in modern and traditional homes and offices.

A very slender frame can be obtained using metal mouldings. This can look better with a smaller print and or in a more modern, stark environment.

Many variations are possible You can vary the matte depth and number. Prints that can be traditionally mounted behind the matte(s) or can be made to appear to "float" inside the matte(s). Also with floating prints a "deckle" or "torn" edge can be effective for some prints.
